Why Volunteer?
With busy lives, it can be hard to find time to volunteer. However, the benefits of this can be enormous. Volunteering offers vital help to people in need, worthwhile causes, and the community. But the benefits can be even greater for you, the volunteer. The right organisation can help you to find friends, connect with the community, learn new skills, and even advance your career. If you would like to become a volunteer please complete our contact form.
Participate
If you are not in a position to volunteer right now, you can still help the Trust by attending fundraising events, be they specific events or our fun activities in Bar 94 on matchdays - and bring some friends! The more people who attend, the more money we will raise. Fundraising events are great fun and also a great way to get to know other folk who share your support of ICT. See what is coming up by visiting our events page or come along to Bar 94 on any matchday.
From time to time we will be running fundraising efforts for specific projects, but we also need significant income at other times. The Trust is run by volunteers but there are modest overheads that need to be met. Beyond that, all the money the Trust raises is used to support specific Club projects, the wonderful work done by colleagues in the Community Trust, or other deserving initiatives which are eligible for support under its constitution. Having reserves in the bank means we can respond quickly when particular projects need urgent support and we can use these funds to kick start bigger fundraising efforts.
