ICTST Appeal for Club Volunteers
As you are probably aware, the Supporters Trust Board and many of our members have offered to provide assistance to the club on a voluntary basis, to assist on matchdays or to do general maintenance or improvements around the stadium. The Trust Board has also offered to assist with items like Player Sponsorship and affordable Hospitality offerings.
The former CEO was not interested in this, but the SLO, Scott Young, has been very receptive to our ideas, but understood that volunteers would not come forward until the CEO had finally departed the club. Alan Savage is also aware and welcomes the potential availability of volunteers.
Now that the former CEO has finally left the club, we are looking to compile a list of volunteers and their skills so that we can work with the club to get improvements carried out, whilst reducing the costs incurred by the club. This will also improve the matchday experience for fans.
This link is to a simple survey which we would be grateful if you could take a few minutes to complete:
https://www.ictsupporterstrust.org/volunteers-survey
There are four categories that we are seeking volunteers for, so please tick all those that you can assist with:
General Maintenance
Matchday Assistance
Personal Licence Holder (ie someone who is authorised to sell alcohol)
Other (please specify)
Please use the box provided to outline any particular areas of expertise that you have, and any trades that you hold qualifications in.
There is then a section where you can outline your general availability.
The Trust and the club are both keen to harness the skills and availability of volunteers, and this is a way that fans can assist the club in taking things forward.
We hope that as many of you as possible will be able to respond positively to this appeal.
