We are working with 3 SCOTS who are based out at Fort George to help gather some information they are looking to gather in order to commemorate the former Thistle & Caledonian players who had also served during WW1.
There is a longer term aspiration to build a Cairn or some sort of plaque outside the stadium - however this will take time to gather the information - some of which you can already see on the attached photograph.
As you can see on the attachment - the information collated to date is for Inverness Caledonian Players that served in WW1 - we are looking to get as many names as we possibly can that played for Inverness Thistle and served in WW1 too - and we are reaching out to you all to help if at all possible.
If you are able to provide any names of Caledonian or Thistle players that also served in WW1 - it would be great to hear from you - just drop us a note at info@ictsupporterstrust.org or through our contact form alternatively pop in and see us at the supporters bar before the match on Matchday.
