ICT Supporters Trust supports young people involved in football

The ICT Supporters Trust is delighted to be offering support to young people involved in football through two sponsorship initiatives.

The Supporters Trust is supporting the ICT WFC Youth Academy by sponsoring training tops for their Under 16s squads for the 2026 season.

The Youth Academy has 170 girls registered from Under 8s up to Under 18s, with a pathway to the Women’s first team.

The Supporters Trust is also sponsoring the ballboys at home games through the supply of warm jackets and hats.

George Moodie, ICT Supporters Trust Chair, said “the Supporters Trust supports all things ICT and wants to encourage young people to become involved in football and to encourage support of both the Men’s and Women’s Teams throughout the community, whilst encouraging youngsters to become involved in the Academies. We hope these sponsorship initiatives will encourage the youngsters to continue their involvement in football, by assisting them when they are training or being ballboys at first team games. We look forward to continuing to work closely with both the club and the Women’s Youth Academy on further initiatives”.

Kirsten Petrie, Vice Chair of the WFC Youth Academy added “the WFC Academy and the Under 16s squads are delighted to receive this welcome support from the Supporters Trust and look forward to continuing to work with the Trust to enhance what the Academy can achieve. We are self funded and entirely volunteer run, and any assistance with fundraising activities, sponsorship and support makes a big difference to all of the girls in the Academy.

Charlie Christie, Chief Executive of ICT commented “we are grateful to all our ballboys for their efforts at every home game, and this initiative by the Supporters Trust is very welcome, giving them added protection in the Inverness winter. Since Alan Savage stepped in to initially stabilise and subsequently buy the club, the Supporters Trust has been very supportive of the work of the club. This sponsorship is an added example of this, following other initiatives such as the revamp and relaunch of Bar 94 and the sponsorship of Alfie Stewart and Logan Ross. We look forward to continuing to work very closely with the Trust Board and its members."
