Welcome to our first update of 2026 following our first Board Meeting of the year earlier this week. It has been a busy start to the year for Board Members, and we hope this extract of a fuller update we have provided to members will give you a flavour of what we have been involved in.
We have had a very positive initial meeting of the Disability Working Group with a wide ranging discussion. Jointly with us, the club are looking at some “quick wins” whilst the club looks at longer term solutions to issues raised.
We recently announced two sponsorship initiatives supporting young people involved in football, providing training kit for the ICT WFC Academy Under 16 squads and warm jackets and hats for the ballboys at home games. We look forward to continuing to work closely with both the club and the Women’s Youth Academy on further initiatives.
It is great to see the club being chosen to host the Women’s Under 23 International between Scotland and the Netherlands on Monday 2 March. The game kicks off at 1900, with free admission. We hope to be able to open Bar 94 and will confirm this and the times nearer to the day of the match. Stagecoach will be running the Matchday Bus Service, leaving the Bus Station at 1815 and returning from the Stadium 10 minutes after the full time whistle.
During the autumn, to build on the successful matchday bus service and offer something new to season ticket holders, we introduced Stagecoach to the club. We are pleased to see that reduced fares are now available to season ticket holders on matchdays, and season ticket holders receiving an e-mail with discount codes before each home game.
We have two home games this month, against East Fife on Saturday and against Stenhousemuir on Saturday 21st. We hope there will be big crowds at both games, encouraging the players to continue our title challenge.
The times for Bar 94 and the Matchday Bus Service will be as normal for Saturday afternoon games. Bar 94 will open at 1200, with last orders at 1430. It will reopen at full time when we will be joined by some of the players.
The Stagecoach Matchday Bus Service will leave the Bus Station for the Stadium at 1245 and 1415, returning from the Stadium to the Bus Station 10 minutes after the full time whistle and at 1800. The bus fare is £2.70 single (contactless payments or cash accepted), and Over 60 / Disabled and Under 22 Concession passes are valid, giving free travel on the service to passholders.
