This update includes a request for feedback from fans using wheelchairs or accompanying wheelchair users at games, a reminder about our Prize Draw for the sold out Hospitality on 2 May, and details of the reduced bus fare on the Matchday Bus Service.
Disability Working Group:
We continue to have discussions with the club about measures that can improve the matchday experience for fans with disabilities.
An early “quick win” has been the repurposing of the unused electric charging points as spaces for van-type wheelchair accessible vehicles. If you use a vehicle of that type and would benefit from using one of these spaces, please contact the club.
The constraints surrounding the design and construction of the stands restrict the viable and practical options for improving the provision of areas for fans using wheelchairs and those accompanying them. However, the club is keen to explore what may be possible, subject to meeting current regulations, and has asked us to seek feedback from members who are wheelchair users or accompany wheelchair users to games.
The location that lends itself most readily to a new, covered wheelchair area would be part of the West Stand side of the stadium.
We would like to hear thoughts on whether a new facility in the West Stand side of the stadium would be welcomed by fans and, if not, what the preference would be. Please reply to this e-mail or drop us a line at info@ictsupporterstrust.org.
Hospitality Prize Draw:
Hospitality is sold out for the last home league game of the season against Hamilton on Saturday 2 May.
However, we have two tickets, plus a £50 drinks voucher, that you can win, all for just £2 per entry!
Thank you to everyone who has entered so far, but there is still time to enter, or even to enter again!
All entries help fund fan-led initiatives and the Trust’s work with the club and local community. The draw closes at 1900 on Wednesday 1 April, so don’t miss your chance to finish the season in style!
Matchday Bus Service: Reduced Fare:
Following the launch of the £2 bus fare cap across the Highlands this week, the fare on the Matchday Bus Service has been reduced to £2. Concessionary passes continue to be valid, giving free travel to passholders.
Bar 94 will open at 1730 for Friday’s game against Queen of the South and again at full time when we hope to be joined by some of the players. The Stagecoach Matchday bus service will leave the Bus Station at 1900, returning 10 minutes after the full time whistle.
