Well, what a season that was! A real rollercoaster of emotions, on and off the pitch.
Tremendous credit must go to Scott Kellacher, Billy Mckay, all the backroom team and all the players for securing our League 1 status for next season. On 26 October, after our first game in administration, we were 15 points adrift of Dumbarton at the bottom, 16 behind Annan and 19 behind Montrose. We caught all of them, to end up a very creditable 7th, with the best defensive record in the league.
This must rank as one of the greatest achievements in the club’s short history.
At the Fans Meeting in October, it was clear that the fans had confidence that we could achieve this, and it has been brilliant to see the team deliver on the pitch, and very refreshing to see the positive tactical approach.
We can look forward with optimism to the new season and be confident that we can quickly overcome the 5 point penalty we will start with and then push for promotion.
Turning to Trust business, we are very grateful to everyone who attended the Members Meeting on 23 April and to those who attended or submitted proxy votes for the Special General Meeting on 8 May 2025.
We are pleased to confirm that the Resolution to transfer the Trust’s shareholding in the club to FC Inverness Limited was agreed. This transfer is subject to the club exiting administration, with the CVA Meeting of creditors taking place on 22 May.
A lot of work has clearly gone on behind the scenes to resolve the issues that have prolonged administration, relating to the disparate shareholding, the loans and the ownership of the car parks. We hope that everything comes together on 22 May with the CVA being agreed. Credit must go to Alan Savage for funding the club through the difficult administration period and having the confidence to look to buy it.
It has been very satisfying for the Trust Board to see the popularity of Bar 94 increase and it be the venue of choice for many fans, both before and after our games. We are grateful to everyone who has volunteered to assist us: it has only been possible with your support. Particular thanks are due to our volunteer bar staff.
The success of Bar 94 has been helped by our strategic partnerships with Dog Falls, with their great selection of draught and canned beers, and Stagecoach, who expanded the matchday bus service at no cost to the club or Trust.
We have a list of improvements we hope to make to Bar 94 over the close season, including clearing some areas, filling holes and painting the walls, cleaning and painting the gents’ toilets, and finally painting the floor. We achieved a lot in a short time when we took Bar 94 on last year and are very grateful to everyone who volunteered then. We plan to start work on Sunday 1 June at 1100. If you are available to help, we will be delighted to see you then. Please let us know by contacting us at info@ictsupporterstrust.org
We held our first evening event on 12 April, when we hosted “An Evening with Calum Jones”. It was great to see so many there, and Calum was delighted with the venue and the support he received. We hope to welcome him back next season.
This month sees the 10th anniversary of our famous Scottish Cup win. We plan to mark the anniversary with an event involving players from that team. We are finalising a date that maximises their availability, and will announce details in the near future: watch this space!
Finally, returning to the management team and players, we are very grateful to them joining fans in Bar 94 after matches for the Player of the Match Awards, sponsored by Dog Falls. They all took time to chat to fans and pose for photographs, and it was clear that they all appreciated the support of fans throughout the season. This came across loud and clear with Bar 94 jumping following confirmation of our League 1 survival on 26 April.
The Supporters Trust is a member organisation. Whilst our membership has grown significantly over the last year, we can achieve even more if we can continue to build our membership. If you know anyone who is not a member, please encourage them to join at:
